The village is surrounded by open countryside which offer some great walks, particularly the one to Wittenham Clumps.
This is an area managed by Earthtrust who in partnership with the Environment Agency are creating a Wetland & Wildlife area of 2 kilometres called River of Life Project.
If you’re brave enough to climb the clumps the panoramic view is of Oxford and The Berkshire Downs are fantastic.
Warborough our sister village, offers a 17th Century Church St Laurence , village shop, many period houses and also a large public green with cricket pitch and pavilion.

For those interested in local history Wallingford has ruins of a Castle built on the orders of William the Conqueror in 1067.
The Castle gardens are open to the public and well worth a visit.
